Favorite food: Tex-Mex or Asian

Chore I most dislike doing: Making the bed

Favorite vacation spot: Sugar-sand beaches of Florida/Alabama panhandle

I’ve been told I look like: In my 20s, when I had a mustache, people said i looked like Tom Selleck on "Magnum P.I." I haven't heard that in a LONG time.

If I could learn to do anything, I would: Play piano

Earliest childhood memory: tasting desserts that my mom baked (no wonder I’m a sugar addict!)

A movie that always makes me cry is: "The Notebook" (forget "always" - once was enough!)

The best part of waking up is: coffee … it’s the ONLY good thing about waking up

Growing up, I got into most trouble when I: talked too much at school

The thing that makes me most nervous is: Thinking of the kind of society my grandsons will grow up in.

The best concert I ever attended: Paul McCartney at the Cotton Bowl

My favorite verse (or life verse): “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
