What is Rooted?
Rooted is a 10-week pathway to strengthen your connection with God, the church and your purpose. Whether you have been following Jesus for decades, or question whether he is even real, Rooted is a safe place to grow with others as you experience and practice the rhythms of following Jesus.
When does the next Rooted semester start?
Rooted groups launch three times throughout the year: in January, May, and September. We will work with you to determine the best day of the week to meet with your groups. We recommend you join the Priority Access List to be notified when registration opens.
What is the cost of Rooted?
The $30 registration fee covers your workbook, other materials, your Rooted t-shirt, and a graduation celebration, during which you will share a meal together. We do not want finances to deter you from participating. If needed, please contact us about possible scholarships.
Is there childcare?
Yes, limited childcare is available on a first-come, first-served basis for $45 per child, with a max of $135 per family. You can register for childcare at the same time you register for Rooted. (If you prefer to use your own sitter, we also offer kid care reimbursement to help offset the cost. You can find more information here.)
Where will my Rooted group meet?
Most groups meet on-site, at Preston Trail, but occasionally there are virtual groups or off-site groups that meet in someone’s home.
What if I can't attend all 10 weeks?
For the best Rooted experience, it is worth investing in the entire process, so we recommend not missing more than two weeks. If your schedule requires you to miss more than two, please consider joining us when the next Rooted session starts.
How will the Rooted groups be chosen?
Our Rooted team prayerfully places participants into groups. We consider age, marital status, life stage, and area of town when forming groups, but ultimately, it depends on the demographics of those who register each semester.
