Women's Ministry Director
My Family: Originally from Tulsa, OK where I met my husband, Jon, while we were in high school. We've been married 21 years and have two boys, Rinner and Camden. I graduated from Drury University with a B.A. in Communications. I lived in London during college and am still an Anglophile who loves British TV shows and follows the Royal Family.
Little known fact about me: I was named after both my grandfathers - Leslie (Les) and Lee.
Pet peeve: Shoes lying in the middle of a room
Favorite food: My mom's brisket and grits
Chore I most dislike doing: Dusting
The thing that makes me most nervous is: Watching my kids play sports - I love watching them play, but I'm competitive and want them to do well, and it's sometimes hard to stay quiet on the sidelines.
A movie that always makes me cry is: It's A Wonderful Life
If I could learn to do anything, I would: Learn to play jazz on the piano
The best concert I ever attended: Seeing U2 on their Elevation Tour in November 2001, just a few weeks after the World Trade Center bombing. My husband and I drove to Kansas City and back, during a snow storm, to see them play that night. It was incredible.
Favorite movie of all time: The Princess Bride
The best invention during my lifetime is: Amazon.com - From Alexa, to Prime, to two-hour delivery, Amazon has changed the way I live. Not sure Christmas would even happen at my house if it weren't for Amazon.
My favorite verse (or life verse): Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
