Meet Justin
My Family: My wife is Jess, whose picture is to the left of mine on the staff page. We've been married since July of 2017.
Little known fact about me: I am naturally gifted at only two sports: skiing and ice skating. Good thing I live in Texas where I can do those things all the time.
Pet peeve: When people bite their silverware. Eat your food, not your fork, please.
Favorite food: It's got to be pizza. There's no such thing as bad pizza. Cardboard with pizza sauce and pizza cheese would still be "good pizza" in my book.
Chore I most dislike doing: Unloading the dishwasher. I'll load it all day long, but the second those dishes are clean, I hate putting them away.
I’ve been told I look like: Lin-Manuel Miranda, renaissance paintings of Jesus, and James McAvoy as Mr. Tumnus in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
If I could choose anyone, my mentor would be: Steven Spielberg or C.S. Lewis—they both have a unique grasp on the importance of childlike wonder in storytelling that is really appealing to me.
The thing that makes me most nervous is: Heights. But not just skydiving and skyscrapers and extreme heights -- even some ladders are too tall.
A movie that always makes me cry is: Toy Story 3
If I could learn to do anything, I would: Translate books from other languages into English
A sound that I love is: Rain on the roof
The best concert I ever attended: A band from Stockholm, Sweden called Dirty Loops. I don't really even like their music that much, but they are without a doubt the best musicians I have ever seen.
Favorite movie of all time: Raiders of the Lost Ark
The best invention during my lifetime is: The iPod. I still have an old one loaded down with music that I keep in my car!
My favorite verse (or life verse): But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.(Ephesians 2:13)
