PTSM Senior Engage Trip to Guatemala

We are challenging graduating seniors to engage their world in a bigger way, by walking alongside those in extreme poverty who live next to and work in the Guatemala City trash dump. The team will help construct a new concrete house alongside the homeowning family, lead “VBS”-type activities for kids, engage in prayer walks, and learn about eight different types of poverty.

Since there are a limited number of spots, there is an application process, including an interview. A deposit of $100 is due with the application, and the application deadline is February 19. Upon turning in your application, you will receive a link to go online and set up your interview time. Interviews will be over the phone for 10-15 minutes each.

Students will raise their own support for the trip. By registering, students and their parents commit to raising the support and/or personally cover support deficits. There will be two mandatory team meetings for the trip which are outlined in the application.
