Lovepacs Spring Pack
Provide & pack food for local under-resourced kids
Lovepacs is a local ministry that provides breakfasts, lunches, and snacks to local children when schools are closed for the long holidays. Frisco has more than 1,000 kids in need of food over these breaks, and roughly 10% of these students are homeless. Many of these students attend one of our neighborhood schools, Christie Elementary, and there are 130 students at Christie Elementary who qualify for Lovepacs over Spring Break.
Preston Trail invites you to join us as we partner with Lovepacs and pack boxes of nutritious food for these children. This is a wonderful way to serve with your own kids as you shop together for items, bring them to Preston Trail, and pack them in a box for families in need. Here's how it works:
1. Register for the Lovepacs event
2. Purchase at least one of every item listed on the Lovepacs flyer (click the "Download Event Resources" button below).
3. Bring your items to Preston Trail on February 11 (Lovepacs will provide the boxes). Feel free to bring your whole family to participate.
4. Sort, pack, write a note and have fun serving others!
